JOB PURPOSE:
This job is created to provide technical and economic leadership in the inspection, maintenance and reliability of cranes and lifting
equipment according to safety standards.

JOB DIMENSIONS:
To ensure cranes and lifting equipment reliability and availability according to safety standards.
To ensure operational engineering processes, inspection and maintenance are efficiently carried out in strict compliance
with safety policies and procedures on all lifting and marine equipment
To ensure crane and lifting equipment support as technical authority to the DW field operations in accordance with Company
rules and statutory regulation.
To analyse crane maintenance activities and lifting equipment performance from the technical and economic perspective
and take action necessary to achieve company set objectives regarding efficiency, cost optimization and savings.
To provide Marine lifting equipment support to Maintenance Operations Mechanical Static team when required

ACTIVITIES: 
To prepare all methods support and implementation of practice documents regarding preventative maintenance, inspection,
and testing to be performed on AKPO &amp; EGINA cranes and lifting equipment based on recognized best practice and
applicable regulations.
To prepare and develop specifications for new cranes and lifting equipment based on recognized international standards.
Co-ordinate planned crane maintenance activities fleet-wide in conjunction with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
Manage specialized crane maintenance vendors interventions and contracts (Liebherr, Sparrow, National Oilwell Varco etc.)
within SCM frame agreements (including technical scope of work) where applicable.
Ensure the implementation and assurance of Company integrity management system compliance.
Liaise with classification societies/third party design offices where applicable.
Support DW TUPNI asset installations for all related crane issues (specifically for new cranes, specification for upgrades and
heavy lift works on cranes).
Liaise with crane manufacturers when required.
Participate in and/or lead investigations for all crane related incidents across the fleet.
Interface with DW INSPECTION Department for all crane related issues.
Supervision until completion of 5-years major overhauls in all DW installations cranes (based on Contractor/OEM and CPLO
reports).
Follow spare parts stocks with Warehouse and Procurement.
- In Charge For all cranes:
    o Review/Produce Maintenance Plan as per Vendor recommendations
    o Review/Correct/Create corrected BOMs in SAP, establish MRP parameters
 o Ensure equipment are certified by third parties.
 For all Hoist Winches:
o Review/Produce actual Maintenance Plan
o Review/Correct/Create corrected BOMs in SAP, establish MRP parameters

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Formal education: B.SC. Mechanical Engineering (2.1).
- Professional experience (number of years): 15 years’ experience with:
    o Technical knowledge and experience in Offshore cranes and hydraulic power         transmission and control systems
    o Proven experience working with heavy machinery/equipment
    o Extensive experience within maintenance, fault finding, build and                       procurement of equipment projects
- Team management, analytical and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management       System (SAP) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English language.&lt;br /&gt;

ACTIVITIES: 
Responsible for the Technical content of the Maintenance Methods in the field of Mechanical, including the responsibility for maintenance plans, spare parts coverage, working techniques, and the procedures, in accordance with the Maintenance Policy.
Revise the maintenance plans prepared by the various Contractors and ensure their proper implementation.
Coordinate with the Methods Department the consolidation of the Maintenance Plans.
Ensure suitable spare-parts availability/coverage through adequate stock management parameters; initiate the necessary improvements in accordance with the reliability, availability objectives and cost optimization.
Perform the duties of Technical Administrator for the Mechanical Spare Parts.
Develop and control proper implementation/use of the techniques and tools required for an efficient maintenance, including both technical (condition monitoring, working tools, etc.…) and administrative/reporting aspects (Work reports, data trending, spare parts consumption, etc.…).
Responsible to control and ensure the data captured in SAP (UNISUP) are accurate; perform their analysis and propose optimization plans.
Ensures proper management of the equipment support means including documentations, tooling, software, etc.
Provides technical expertise in view of timely and efficiently address the failures and losses of performance of equipment.
Analyse the equipment performances, perform technical studies, provide technical support on any technical queries, and make proposals for improvement and optimization.
Perform modification studies as required.
Ensure the operations under own authority are prepared and performed in accordance with Company rules, procedures and specifications, and in full compliance with the HSE standards.
Responsible for the mobilisation, the coordination, the logistic arrangements, of the external resources (vendors, contractors, means, etc.…) required for the operations in own field of competence (mechanical). Includes initiation of call off, or service order, definition of scope of work, work performance follow-up, control/acceptance of deliverables, and any other duty until satisfactory completion of the required service.·      &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Engineer University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Good Knowledge in Turbo machineries.
Minimum 10 years’ experience as Mechanical Engineer including 5 in the Petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations
Organizes on site the maintenance operations which are related to turbo machines by coordinating supervisors.
Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
Assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures
related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard
industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his
responsibility,
Manages interventions using the CMMS,
Enters intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
Takes in charge the turbo packages in case of breakdown until correct operation
status.
Assists operation team in conducting the turbo machines.

Methods
Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggestsimprovements
Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be,suggests improvements,
Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality ofspare parts,
Suggests improvements and requests modifications.
Monitors the functioning of turbo machines, by following important parameters of the packages,

Quality Assurance
Verifies the quality of interventions by frequent on-site checks
He is responsible for the reliability and integrity of turbo machines

Purpose
He ensures that maintenance operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations, within his field, carried out on site by CONTRACTOR&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:
• Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years. study) or
BTS/DUT or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years. experience in the maintenance or operation field on gas turbine,
• Specific professional knowledge:
• Gas turbine

• Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,

Main Responsibilities:
He/She supports the Onshore Team Leader for Methods and preparation of medium and long-term activities.
He/She processes all outstanding notifications which have been approved and scoped.
He/She assists COMPANY Technical Support Engineers in the assurance of quality and proper execution of modification works.
He/She actions and expedites ERHA maintenance Equipment repairs with work packs and testing requirements validated by COMPANY Technical Support Engineers.
He/She assists the COMPANY in the preparation and execution of detailed maintenance work packs and its associated planning.
He/She reviews Preventive Maintenance Program validity by checking available means to complete it as and when required.
He/She prepares Work Packs for Complex Maintenance Job when requested.
He/She checks and ensures that vital equipment on production sites is available as and when required.
He/She ensures all required materials for Preventive Maintenance.
He/She challenges and reviews the existing maintenance plans in terms of operations, periodicity, estimated hours (workload balancing), procedures and spare parts requirement and makes recommendations for optimization and improvement of the SAP as necessary.
He/She provides Onshore support and focal point for the Offshore Maintenance teams.
Operations
      
To prepare scopes of work and ensure that all materials and equipment are available as and when required for modifications, repairs or maintenance activities.
To prepare scopes of work for approved work programmes ensuring that all relevant operating procedures and safety regulations are written in and that all necessary materials and equipment are available as and when required.
To build the Work Order (WO) associated to a Notification with below information (at a minimum):
All resources required to complete the work pack (including any common user services e.g., Scaffolding, rigging abseiling, etc.).
o   Manhours/trade.
o   Materials.
o   Tools &amp; Equipment.
o   Special PPEs or Procedures if required.
o   External Services or Specialist Vendor Support (OEM).
o   Any special skills required to complete the work scope.
o   Any specific consideration for job execution (Confined Space, Hot Work, etc.).
To assist with the preparation of the preventive maintenance schedule for plant (PM01 &amp; PM02) and equipment and ensure that planned work takes place.
To review all Work Orders due within the next 90 days, ensuring they are released and ready to schedule, setting “RTE” – Ready to Execute status in SAP.
o   VENDOR Rev status – Held for Vendor (ensure that selected Vendor is available and has all documentation/logistics in place).
To review/revalidate Work Orders bi-weekly through SAP variant, that are held out of the planning process by one of&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of SAP, HSE standards, and Maintenance methodologies.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with engineering, HSE, and QA/QC.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Valid offshore certifications: BOSIET / HUET / H2S / OGUK Medical&lt;br /&gt;

Rever os planos anuais, mensais e de curto prazo (look-ahead) de manutenção mecânica e identificar ordens de trabalho que requeiram preparação detalhada, disponibilidade de materiais, apoio de fornecedores, acessos, elevação, isolamento ou coordenação logística.
Criar, atualizar e melhorar ordens de trabalho mecânicas no sistema CMMS/ERP, incluindo sequência de tarefas, mão de obra, duração, ferramentas, peças sobressalentes, consumíveis, necessidades de elevação, requisitos de permissões, etapas de reposição, requisitos de testes e critérios de encerramento.
