 Key Responsibilities
Maintenance &amp; Repair
Strip down, clean, lap seats, replace springs, bellows, and O-rings on valves from brands like Crosby, Anderson Greenwood, Leser, and Farris
Execute emergency repairs during unplanned shutdowns to avoid flaring penalties
Testing &amp; Certification
Perform statutory PSV testing and recertification intervals as mandated by NUPRC Guidelines and API 576 - typically every 12-36 months depending on service
Conduct bench testing and in-situ testing using deadweight testers and portable pop testers on FPSOs, flow stations, refineries, and gas plants
Stamp and issue PSV certification tags acceptable to NUPRC and third-party inspectors
HSE &amp; Regulatory Compliance
Ensure 100% compliance with DPR Safety Regulations 1997 and NMDPRA requirements
Complete Permit to Work (PTW), JSA, and Toolbox Talk documentation before any job

Minimum ND/HND Mechanical Engineering from NBTE-accredited polytechnic. B.Eng preferred for IOC roles
API 510 or API 570. BOSIET + HUET for offshore roles. COREN registration is an advantage

 Job Purpose:

Your main duties will be to: -

guidelines by ensuring minimal unapproved WOs under the scope of responsibility, platforms or packages,
especially those critical to Safety and production (defined WOs Priorities, SECE, Vital Equipment etc.).
• As a principle and in adherence to the set GMC KPI, the work preparer shall try to maintain at all times a threshold 
of ≤ 5% INIT of the total open work order count, under the frame of responsibilities. 
• On a daily basis, the PM04 preparations guideline shall help to define the priorities of the daily tasks. All activities 
requested by the Clients to be managed as a higher priority within the frame of contract shall be checked with the 
GMC Preparations - focal point for clarifications where required.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

MISSIONS :

1. SAP Data Management &amp; Population

Produce engineering deliverables according to project contracts and applicable engineering standards.
Proactively highlight technical deviations or non-conformance risks to the O&amp;M Package Maintenance Leader.
Integrate technical links between general specifications and spare parts deliverables into the CMIMS.
Maintain permanent focus on improving maintenance process, updating drawings and P&amp;ID.

4. Team Collaboration &amp; Safety
Collaborate with maintenance, operation, HSE and other engineering teams to enhance overall productivity.

CONTRACT TERMS &amp; MOBILITY :

 Local employment contract within an international group entity or freelance contract, depending on profile
Full remote during the preparation phase with missions in Cergy (France) and abroad at contract start for spot missions overseas
Complete the collection and population of all instrumentation asset data and control loops into the SAP CMIMS by the end of 2026.

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities
- Work Pack Preparation: Prepare maintenance work packs; order materials and initiate fabrication for piping and structural CM jobs for SD, Campaign, and Base operations.

- Vendor Mobilisation: Arrange vendor mobilisation for spools and structural survey.

   AUTOMATION ENGINEER

- Carry out routine, corrective, and shutdown maintenance tasks in various Automation systems.
- Carry out Automation Project Engineering and commissioning activities in Automation Systems.
- Jobs in this level have prime responsibility to ensure that QAFCO’s Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) are maintained in an efficient and economical way, to improve the safety, quality, quantity, and environmental aspects of production.
- They must also ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with QAFCO’s Management Systems and aligned with QAFCO’S Strategy.

Responsabilities

- Initiate and gain approval for work permits to facilitate the execution of assigned tasks in compliance with QAFCO safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meeting to discuss scheduled work activities and ensure correct tools and safety equipment are available prior to commencement of work.
- Carry out the assigned day-to-day routine and non-routine maintenance jobs in the Automation systems installed in QAFCO.
- Ensure that the work is completed on time, meeting QAFCO quality standards.
- Carry out ICS computer maintenance including Antivirus and Microsoft Security Patch update, operating system configurations, basic troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.
- Ensure Automation assets are maintained in compliance with the QAFCO cyber security requirements.
- Support the installation, testing and Commissioning activities of ICS projects / upgrades.
- Ensure good housekeeping to secure the cleanliness of the workplace.
- Comply with QAFCO Life Saving Rules as per “PSa-001 Life Saving Rule” Document.
- Participate in the call duty to provide maintenance support outside working hours.
- Support the team to achieve the section/department KPIs.
- Comply with all relevant procedures of QAFCO Integrated Management System comprising of Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA Product Stewardship &amp; energy Management System

Key accountabilities
- Maintenance of Distributed control system, Safety Instrumented System, Compressor control system:
- Maintain the Automation Systems to ensure the highest uptime and MTBF.
- Establish and implement various maintenance schedules for the automation systems as recommended by OEM.
- Supervise the work of staff for conformity, good engineering practices, international standards, functional safety, and Cyber Security compliance.

Project execution
- Execute and support various Automation Projects, prepare cost proposal and coordinate - engineering
tasks, planning, procurement, manpower hiring, erection &amp; commissioning.
- Work closely with all stake holders and vendor representatives, conduct necessary project meetings
and acceptance tests.
- Follow company procedures for change management.

Bachelor’s Engineering degree in in Instrumentation / Electronics discipline (12+4 years) Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in Industrial Control Systems in Petrochemical or Fertilizer industries.

Hands-on Maintenance and Troubleshooting experience of industrial automation
system such as DCS/ESD Control systems, Turbo Machinery Control and Protection Systems, Cyber Security guidelines and networking etc.

Job Purpose

Turnaround Planning Engineer
Reporting &amp; Context

Operations Division, Maintenance Services department, reporting to Senior Planning Engineer (Turnaround). Established 29/04/2026, approved by Head of Turnaround.

Job Purpose

Develop TAR scope, prepare budgetary estimates, maintain the master plan across all turnaround phases, and ensure safe, cost-effective, on-schedule execution aligned with QAFCO Turnaround Management System (TMS) and Stage-Gate governance (Gates 1–6).

Key Accountabilities


Scope Development: Define TAR scope incorporating inspection findings, asset integrity requirements, risk assessments, OEM recommendations, and lessons learned; manage formal scope change process; lead scope challenge and optimisation efforts.


Planning &amp; Scheduling: Develop and maintain integrated master schedules in Primavera P6 including critical path, near-critical activities, resource levelling, and clash/interface analysis; integrate all phases (pre-TAR, shutdown, execution, startup) into a single unified plan.


Budget &amp; Cost Control: Develop equipment-level cost estimates (OPEX/CAPEX); support variance analysis (Budget vs Actual); integrate lessons learned for future TAR cycles.


SAP Master Data: Create, maintain, and update TAR preventive maintenance schedules, task lists, BOMs, and equipment assignments in SAP; ensure timely generation of notifications and work orders; support SAP–Primavera integration.


Execution Support: Verify readiness (materials, manpower, tools, permits); monitor progress via KPIs and trend analysis; manage emergent scope; support punch list clearance and pre-startup readiness.


Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate multi-discipline coordination meetings; act as focal point for tendering and technical evaluations; ensure contractor alignment.


Training: Mentor trainees and newly hired personnel in TAR planning methodologies and scheduling tools.
