Descrição da função

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Oversee daily scaffolding operations, including erection, modification, and dismantling 

• Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with safety and design requirements 

• Ensure proper tagging: green tags for completed scaffolds with correct WO numbers; red 

tags for incomplete or modified scaffolds 

• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to standards 

• Track and document daily time-on-tools using IOC tools (e.g. SASBU IODSC), and 

monitor installation durations versus estimates 

• Ensuring proper planning, qualified personnel, and safety documentation are in place prior 

to commencing the work. 

• Monitor installation POB (Personnel on Board), daily progress vs. job card estimates 

• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements 

• Provide daily summary progress reports to the Scaffolding Coordinator, including tonnage 

and square meterage erected, track and drive the dismantling campaign 

• Sign and validate daily timesheets (WO, manhours, and task descriptions) 

• The Construction Rep should be 90% in the field, 10% in the office for reporting

Perfil

Competency Expectations 

• Skilled in scaffold inspection, tagging protocols, and field execution. 

• Strong understanding of Chevron’s safety standards and hazard identification. 

• Ability to track productivity, identify inefficiencies, and propose corrective actions. 

• Clear and concise reporting to the Scaffolding Coordinator and other stakeholders. 

• Commitment to upholding company specifications and regulatory requirements. 

• Certification required as provided by a credited entity Company (Scaffolding Erector Level 1, 2 & 3, Work at Heights, Base Scaffolding Inspector, OSHA – Safe Scaffold Erection & Inspection #773916, OSHA – Scaffold Safety Program Management #773916)

• Proven knowledge of scaffolding Safe Work Practices (SWP) and industry standards
