Job description

 

Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on Block 3 PROJECT in Angola.
In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for Metering Method Engineer H/F

 

 

Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS : SAP

Metering Specific:

Emerson S600+ Flow Computers, DeltaV PK controllers, and Elite Coriolis Flow Meters, Kelton Meter Manager.

Context and missions

This position is located OFFSHORE on Block 3 in ROTATIONAL
MODE 4x4.

  • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
  • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment on production SITE.
  • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.

 

We are primarily looking for a candidate to carry out the following tasks: 

 

  • Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures
  • In his discipline, he/she is in charge to :
    • Ensure an orderly and proper administration of Maintenance documentation.
    • Control the engineering and vendor technical documentation and ensure update of CMMS, EDMS, and servers.
    • Ensure that the equipment registers are kept update and that maintenance records are validated at proper level, properly reported, recorded and maintained in the dedicated data bases.
    • Checks that Maintenance activities, the specifications for repairs, modifications, and materials comply with the relevant regulations, company rules, technical codes, standards and norms.
    • Analyze lessons learned on corrective maintenance and implement follow up action to prevent this event from occurring again (modification in the preventive maintenance).

Profile

Profil :

We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:

  • Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics, or related field
  • Experience with Custody Transfer & Fiscal Metering Systems including flow computation
  • OEM System Experience – Emerson & Related Platforms - Emerson S600+ FloBoss Flow Computers, and Elite Coriolis Flow Meters (Model CMFHC4).
  • Strong field experience with Field Instrument & Flow Meter Competence
  • Working Knowledge of International Standards & Calibration Software - Kelton Meter Manager / FLO CALC.

Metering Specific:  Emerson S600+ Flow Computers, DeltaV PK controllers, and Elite Coriolis Flow Meters, Kelton Meter Manager.

 

Skills required: Good presentation and communication skills.

Candidate criteria

Minimum level of experience required

10 years or more

Required authorisations

  • Engineer Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics, or related field
  • Experience with Custody Transfer & Fiscal Metering Systems including flow computation
  • OEM System Experience – Emerson & Related Platforms - Emerson S600+ FloBoss Flow Computers, and Elite Coriolis Flow Meters (Model CMFHC4).

  • Strong field experience with Field Instrument & Flow Meter Competence
  • Good knowledge of planning tools and of SAP based CMIMS tools
