Job description

For many years SPIE OGS has been internationally recognized by the largest International Oil Companies for its expertise in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas production units.

We are currently looking to strengthen our skills in this area by recruiting talents who can integrate into our teams and thus participate in our growth in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In this context, we are looking for competent and passionate professionals for a position of HVAC Methods M/F to join us in Angola.

As an HVAC Specialist, working inside the project electrical methods team, you are the referent guaranteeing the proper functioning of HVAC and water treatment facilities for 4 FPSOs.


Your responsibilities includes :

  • HVAC preventive and curative maintenance following and correcting.
  • HVAC Off-Shore sites troubleshooting whenever required.
  • HVAC status: Audit installations and report to the SIM & Electrical FPSO Leader.
  • Performing audits to inspect the integrity of the HVAC installations.
  • Following of GMCs KPI for HVAC part.
  • Prepare & perform level 4 & 5 maintenance activities with vendors.
    Drafting of specifications for tenders in the HVAC trade.
  • Organization and Following of vendors and subcontractors works including warranty.
  • Writing procedures & methods for maintenance and works.
  • Compliance of the maintenance strategy in accordance with the Company Maintenance Rules.
  • Proposing new maintenance schedules, analyze and improve existing maintenance plans.
  • Technical analysis and solutions giver for spares parts purchasing problems. Providing assistance to purchasing department. Decision maker of the HVAC spare parts management and increment in SAP
  • HSE Compliance of the maintenance strategy in accordance with the client Safety & Security guidelines.
  • Contributing in integrating projects into existing installations.
  • Implementating of best operating guidelines for all HVAC installations.
  • Training of GMC’s HVAC team trough mentoring


  • You are a qualified & HVAC Engineer with extensive experience working for Major International Oil and Gas Operators on a variety of On and Offshore Projects in positions such as Maintenance Lead, HVAC Supervisor, Facilities Supervisor and Company Site Representative (CSR).
  • You have extensive experience working in Multi-National workforces and has previously provided on the job training to local nationals.
  • You are proficient in SAP, ICAP & PRODOM software.
  • You are fully conversant in the HSE standards and procedures adopted by Major Oil and Gas Operators and has experience in Construction, Start-up, Maintenance and Commissioning for Major Onshore/ Offshore Facilities.
