Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East in Kuwait as Shift Supervisor – Marine.

Your main duties will be:

Ensure the daily operation of the units in accordance with Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Conservation and Protection Company regulations.

Maintain and improve the operational tools.

Develop and coordinate master plan of all pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the project.

Mitigate pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up risks and provide suggested improvements for identified gaps.

Supervise progress of preparations, secured requested materials and manpower for scheduled daily activities.

Supervise the pre-commissioning / commissioning activities according to detailed procedures.

Ideally you will have a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years' of proven experience in Refinery (Marine).

You will have at least 12 years of experience in a similar position and ideally previous experience in the GCC.

You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

You will need excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal in English.
