	Job description
	SPIE Global Service Energy currently hiring for Commissioning Technician – Mechanical for Onshore Project in Basra, Iraq.
Its a rotational role- 28/28
Job Description – 
Support commissioning and start-up activities related to Commissioning Technician – Mechanical systems on the onshore oil & gas project. Work with the commissioning team to prepare, test, and hand over systems safely and on time.
Main Responsibilities-
·         Assist in commissioning of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, rotating equipment).
·         Follow commissioning procedures and instructions from supervisors.
·         Carry out alignment checks, pressure tests, and functional checks.
·         Report problems and support troubleshooting activities.
·         Record commissioning results and complete check sheets.
·         Respect HSE rules and ensure safe working conditions at all times.
·         Support punch list activities and handover to operations.
 
 
	Profile
	Requirements-
 
·         Iraqi nationals from Basra region.
·         Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
·         Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in oil & gas mechanical maintenance or commissioning.
·         Knowledge of pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, and piping systems.
·         Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and manuals.
·         Good teamwork and communication skills.
·         Strong commitment to safety.
