The Commissioning Site Lead (CSL) is the senior commissioning representative on site for the project.
The project consists of debottlenecking activities across three main EPC scopes:
Central Processing Facility (CPF)
Flowlines & well pad
Pipelines
The CSL operates within a dual (mirror) organizational structure, where:
- The CSL is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between site execution and remote engineering leadership, guaranteeing safe, compliant, and efficient commissioning delivery in a complex brownfield and SIMOPS environment.
- The CSL leads the on-site commissioning organization, composed of local discipline leads, supervisors, and technicians.
- The Commissioning Manager (COM) and Expat Discipline Leads are based remotely.
- Lead and coordinate all on-site commissioning activities across CPF, flowlines, and pipeline scopes.
- Manage and supervise local commissioning teams, including discipline leads, supervisors, and technicians.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are executed in accordance with:
OPERCOM methodology
Project procedures and specifications. - Manage execution within a brownfield environment under SIMOPS constraints
Ensure proper system and subsystem definition, completion, and handover Monitor and drive systemization, punch list clearance, and readiness status. - Coordinate with the COM and remote discipline leads on:
Commissioning planning and prioritization
Technical decision-making
Issue resolution and risk mitigation
Support critical commissioning phases, including:
Pre-commissioning
Energization
Start-up readiness
Lead or support troubleshooting activities on site in coordination with remote specialists
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas
- Minimum 5 years of experience on TotalEnergies commissioning projects (mandatory).
- Previous experience in Iraq or similar high-risk environments is highly desirable.
Proven experience in: - Onshore commissioning projects
- Brownfield / debottlenecking environments
- Strong familiarity with:
OPERCOM methodology - System completion tools and processes (SCDB / ICAPS is a strong advantage).
