Votre mission
MISSIONS:
- Develop and implement structured training programs for mechanical systems and equipment used in PDH and PP units.
- Deliver training sessions (classroom, workshops, and on-the-job training) covering:
Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
Static equipment (heat exchangers, piping systems)
Mechanical components (valves, gearboxes, seals)
Conduct competency assessments for mechanical technicians and engineers to identify skill gaps.
- Develop and maintain training materials (manuals, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, presentations, evaluation tools).
- Provide hands-on training on key topics such as:
Equipment alignment
Precision maintenance
Vibration analysis basics
Mechanical integrity
- Train personnel on maintenance methodologies:
Preventive and predictive maintenance
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Shutdown and turnaround activities
- Ensure integration of safety practices:
LOTO
Confined space entry
Hot work
Lifting & rigging procedures
- Coordinate with maintenance and reliability teams to integrate real operational scenarios into training.
- Support onboarding and ensure personnel certification prior to independent operations.
- Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and field performance.
- Maintain training records, certifications, and competency matrices for compliance and audits.
- Align training schedules with maintenance planning, plant operations, and turnaround constraints.
- Promote continuous improvement by integrating new technologies, OEM recommendations, and best practices.
- Support procurement and implementation of training tools, mock-ups, and demonstration equipment.
CONTRACT TERMS & MOBILITY:
Contract type: Local employment contract within an international group entity or freelance contract, depending on profile
Working arrangements:
Full remote during the preparation phase with missions in Cergy (France) and abroad at contract start for spot missions overseas
Expected final project outcome:
Implementation of a fully operational Mechanical training framework ensuring:
Competent and certified mechanical workforce
Safe execution of maintenance and reliability activities
Compliance with project and HSE standards
Operational readiness for commissioning and steady-state operations
Votre profil
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Training certifications (CTP or equivalent) are a plus
7–10 years of relevant experience
Experience in oil & gas / petrochemical / industrial projects
Experience in international environments
Fluent English mandatory
Turkish is a strong advantage
Ability to work cross-functionally and in project environments
Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical training or industrial maintenance roles
Strong expertise in: Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines), Static equipment (heat exchangers, piping systems), Mechanical systems and maintenance practices
Solid knowledge of: Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, Mechanical integrity and reliability engineering
Experience in: Training program design and delivery, Competency assessment and gap analysis
Familiarity with: Industry standards (API, ASME, OSHA), LMS / training tracking tools
Experience in O&M or large industrial/petrochemical projects
Strong communication and pedagogical skills
Ability to simplify complex mechanical concepts
Strong coordination and stakeholder management
Organizational skills and planning capability
Adaptability in multicultural environments
Proactive mindset with ownership
