Job description

SPIE Global Services Energy is looking for Security & Logistics Coordinator to join its workforce in Nigeria. 

 

JOB PURPOSE
Support the IMA Project in achieving security objectives by providing technical and operational expertise in security operations and administration, facilitate the project operations by ensuring Land transportation of company personnel, partners and other stakeholders. Responsibilities shall include:

  • Advise on security matters across all phases of IMA project development.
    Coordinate and supervise the project site security team.
  • Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments; implement security strategies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Logistics and security budgets / Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in security practices.
    Prepare and maintain security documentation; provide up-to-date security guidance to project personnel.
  • Review contractors’ security plans and develop bridging documents for shared responsibilities.
  • Deliver security inductions for personnel and Government Security Forces (GSF).
  • Identify and address international and national security requirements affecting the project.
  • Audit and review company and contractor security activities, equipment, and sites.
  • Follow up on security audit recommendations and facilitate security drills.
  • Ensures provision of land transportation for movement of company personnel and goods from one place to another purposely for the project
  • Ensures all land transportation for the project is operated in conformity with the Company LTMS and HSE/Driving Policy
  • Ensures the daily management of drivers to maintain cordial industrial harmony in the company.
  • Timely preparation of drivers’ monthly HSE meeting in liaison with the FM&A team, safety training, leave schedules and monitor implementation.
  • Oversees the Supply, Installation, Maintenance of IVMS (In-Vehicle Monitoring System) and /or Driving Improvement & Monitoring System (DIMS) and Monthly downloaded IVMS/DIMS report follow up
  • Carries out detailed investigation of road transport incidents in conjunction with relevant FM&A Transport QA/QC Officer, HSE department and keeps records of accidents
  • Prepares activity report on land transport and makes recommendations to the Manager, Travels Management on land transport matters.
  • Liaise with the site security team to plan and execute security exercises.

Profile

  • Ensure compliance with all TotalEnergies Affiliate and Project security policies, with particular attention to the Company Security Management System
  • Monitor and controls transport operations for the project to ensure safety of personnel lives, other road users and goods
  • Constant education and training of project drivers towards safe and defensive driving behaviour as well as accountable for sanctions policy implementation
  • Manages the Supply, Installation and Maintenance of DIMS and/or IVMS for the project fleet.
