Votre mission

The position is in rotational basis (4/4) based in Basra.

 

Job Dimensions:

  • Key role in the well integrity and production enhancement of Ratawi wells
  • Plans, coordinates, and supports all technical and operational aspects of daily well intervention and well integrity related activities, including preparation of each program in accordance with local authority regulations, company policies & HSEQ standards.
  • Follow and report operational KPIs, costs and lessons learnt of rigless activities
  • Wide exposure to well intervention operations
  • Supervise specific operations on site, when necessary

 

Responsibilities:

           HSE & REGULATORY

  • Ensure Safety specifications for wells and well operations are assured and maintained in compliance with company and statutory standards.

  • Adopt and demonstrate exemplarity towards HSE rules with associated enforcement and control within his area of responsibility.

  • Perform wellsite HSE visit with documented gap analysis vs TE referential.

  • Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.

      

    WELL INTEGRITY

  • Assist the WIFP (Well Integrity Focal Point) to maintain a full vision of the wells integrity and remedial operations planned.

  • Build and maintain up to date the Wells Status Register for Ratawi asset.

  • Liaise with other departments (Field Ops, Well Performance, HSE) for well integrity related topics.

  • Be actively involved in preparing and carrying out risk assessments on operational options, well remediation and well integrity situations.

  • Initiate and follow up derogation process.

     

      ENGINEERING

  • Prepare detailed well intervention programs, based on the approved Well SOR or Well Service Request, and in compliance with TotalEnergies referential and best practices. 

  • Participate to preparation of AFE for well intervention operations. Responsible for day to day well intervention cost follow-up.

  • Track and report well intervention KPI.

  • Conduct troubleshooting and post failure analyses for failed or problematic well equipment or well behavior.

  • Prepare and issue End of Well / Intervention Reports.

  • Actively participate to Drilling Improvement Process for workover and well interventions, capturing lessons learned and improvement initiatives for future operations. 

  • Responsible for “migrating” legacy wells information within Company database and maintain up to date.

  • Propose innovative solutions for production enhancement / water shut off problematics.

  • Coordinate and lead Service Quality Meetings with vendors.

  • Assist the Superintendents / worksite during the well intervention periods and ensure all lessons learned are properly captured, documented and mitigations implemented in future programs.

Votre profil

Qualifications: 

  • Higher education diploma (Engineer)

  • The job holder should have a minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas industry and 5 years of experience in rigless well intervention activities. Well engineering experience is mandatory.

  • Well control certificate (IWCF or IADC)

  • Dynamic, proactive, very organized and detail oriented.

  • Experience managing well integrity and derogation process is much appreciated.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • Mastery of Excel is necessary
