Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 
The Asset Technical Lead is responsible for the management and co-ordination of onshore preparation
for his/her asset:
• Short and medium-term improvement methods.
• Planning and scheduling of his/her asset.
• Support of offshore operations.
• Participate to the definition of long-term maintenance planning (it includes time schedule and 
resources definition) of his/her asset.
• Management and co-ordination with the support of the SAS Manager:
o Cranes and safety equipment preparation team.
o CBM team.
o PSV Workshop.
• Directly liaise with SAS manager and offshore management. 
• Directly liaise with TEPDK method department.
HSEQ:
• Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with TEPDK and NorSPIE HSEQ
Requirements and Rules.
• Ensures that TEPDK and NorSPIE HSEQ Policies and regulations are respected (especially 
procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard 
industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his/her
responsibility.
• Ensures compliance with Operating Procedures & Guidelines with the assets to ensure Process 
Safety, Operational Safety and Plan Integrity.
Participates in the continuous improvement of NorSPIE Integrated Management System:
• Leads or participates in Root Cause Analyses (RCA) following HSE incidents or Quality 
non-conformities and ensures effective implementation and follow-up of all corrective and 
preventive actions.
• Maintains and updates all documents within his/her area of responsibility.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
• Coordinate all the activities related to offshore assistance of his asset.
• Responsible of the Short-term planning of his asset. 
• Ensure the preparation is done in due time, in line with priority and site requirement.
• Ensure all the means are available to guarantee offshore maintenance operations (Logistic, 
material, human) of his asset.
• Ensure daily and weekly meetings with respective teams.
• Ensure that GMC backlog of his/her asset is under control and well managed.
• Coordinate with other operating entities (TEPDK / FMC / Vendors)

 

Profile

Polyvalent and experienced in maintenance activities, logistics, mechanics, electricity, instrumentation,
in the oil and gas industry.
Must show common sense, organization ability, responsibility, and autonomy.
Pride in his/her work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others.
Ability to work in a multinational team. Ability to work in a service relationship.
Proven sense of responsibility and autonomy
Rigorous and methodical in his/her approach to operations.
Able to anticipate and analyze.
Proven ability as a leader of dedicated teams.
Natural authority, founded on his/her abilities and on the trust he/she has in his/her teams, is essential.

Minimum level of experience required

10 years or more

Required authorisations

Computer literacy is required.
Polyvalent and experienced in the following trades: mechanical/fitting, handling, tooling, electricity,
instruments.
Experience in CMMS (SAP/R3) and Stock Tool systems (skilled user level).
