	We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a :
Maintenance Technician - Mechanical
Job Purpose:
- To optimize the reliability and availability of equipment under area of responsibility through completing
 maintenance Activities in accordance with NOC approved operation procedures, guidelines, legislative
 requirements and industry best practice.
- Identify opportunities and champion initiatives that enable maximum production and injection output within
 the parameters of environmental compliance and process safety.
- Provide Team Lead with regular reports with analysis and comment on performance and results. Be held
 accountable for area of responsibility.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with external parties, functional teams and corporate groups
 as required to meet NOC strategic business and operational objectives.
- Contribute to improvements, development and implementation of department activities, processes and
 procedures.
- Complete safe and efficient replacement and repair activities in the event of failure or malfunction ensuring
 quick restoration; troubleshoot malfunctions and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Optimize production and uptime when executing maintenance activities which require shut down / isolation
 or equipment.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and report repetitive equipment failures.
- Prepare adequate documentation and reporting for offshore management consideration regarding wrong
 design, poor workmanship, non-compliance to NOC standards; take appropriate action within level of
 Authority.
- Contribute to Identifying Improvements to planned maintenance routines.
Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
 
	Profile
	- High School Diploma / Technical certificate in Discipline.
- Minimum 4 years recent experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil /gas exploration and/or production industries in a similar role.
