HSE:
· Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE rules and regulations are strictly observed, (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during the performance of maintenance operations placed under his/her responsibility.
· Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with TotalEnergies’ HSE requirements and rules.
· Contributes to achieve and improve HSE targets, respecting the existing procedures and advising new specific ones (If required)
· Update his technical documentation.
· Give his/her contribution in hazard analyses, incident investigations in root cause failure analyses, process incidents advising his/her hierarchy about any HSE issues and proposing corrective solutions.
· Ensures record keeping and reporting of action items from Process Hazard Analyses, Incident Investigations, Root Cause Failure Analyses, Process Incidents audits and other activities as required; Operates in conformity with mechanical/electrical codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices (ASME, API, ANSI, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
· Ensure validity of work permit relevant to the work scope before handling a task.
· Checks and verifies that mandatory aspects (including those concerning local law scenarios) are properly implemented for all activities conducted,
METHODS
· Contribute to relevant kick of meeting related to maintenance operation.
· Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and, suggests improvements if required,
· Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them, and suggests improvements,
OPERATION
· Organises and performs on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his/her responsibility,
· With his/her teams, assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
· Monitors the functioning of systems placed under his/her responsibility,
· Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his/her teams, and actively
· Manages the team of technicians directly under his/her responsibility,
· Performs any intervention within his/her field of competence at the request of the CSR.
· Takes in charge the systems under his/her responsibility in case of breakdown, until correct operation status resumes.
INSTRUMENT SENIOR TECHNICIAN SPECIFIC
· Must have advanced technical knowledge of all types of Instrumentation, Process Control, Fiscal Oil & Gas Metering, Fire & Gas and ESD safety systems.
· In addition to the duties of an Instrument technician, is also responsible for Level 1,2,3 servicing, maintenance and testing of the above equipment as per the CMIMS – UNSIOL system.
· DUCSAT offshore operations are normally 24hr. Day shift 12 hours / Nightshift 12 hours to maximise ‘tool time’.
A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas operations & installations and a thorough knowledge of the
equipment used in oil and gas operations & installations.
The Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams.
Pride in his/her work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others.
Physically ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site.
He/she must have proven ability as a leader of small teams.
