Job description

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for Planner/Scheduler to join its workforce in Nigeria.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

Operations:

  • To prepare the SAP maintenance medium term and longer-term planning, Plans maintenance operations (routine and short-term).
  • To maintain the SAP database with COMPANY validation.
  • To ensure discipline workloads are balanced over the year.
  • To assist the Methods team onshore with the Coordination and expediting of all equipment repairs.
  • To coordinate the control and update of SAP master-data with COMPANY validation.
  • To accurately monitor Discipline backlogs (Maintenance and Inspection) and provide monthly reports to COMPANY.
  • To support the day to day activities of the Offshore team with regards to response to requests on Maintenance Planning and scheduling.
  • To be the main link between Maintenance team Offshore/Onshore and feed and update the 30 days, 90 days and 6 months Planning regularly.
  • To compile the Maintenance performance reporting for COMPANY review.

Methods:

  • To ensure all Preventive Works are accurately resourced and that all materials and services are identified and pre-planned in SAP for execution at site and work location.
  • To conduct reviews in SAP to ensure Preventive Maintenance workloads are balanced over the year and provides advice and proposals to COMPANY for any SAP modification.
  • To keep a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements.
  • To warn support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
  • To track any backlog of work and suggest corrective measures to the Onshore methods team if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable.
  • To develop and provide all medium- and longer-term planning for the Maintenance activities.

Profile

  • He/She is responsible for the accurate preparation and planning in SAP of all Preventive Maintenance activities and Complex Maintenance jobs.

  • He/She ensures all Work loadings are manageable with the resources available.

  • He/She ensures accurate and timely supply and return of Materials for use and subsequent repair, with close liaison with onshore Methods team.

  • He/She ensures accurate support to the planning function on the FPSO.

  • He/She maintains the accuracy of the SAP database with COMPANY validation on changes. He/She provides to COMPANY all Maintenance Statistical reporting.

  • He/She monitors discipline backlogs and highlights problems to Onshore Team Leader.

  • He/She assists COMPANY in the generation of the Maintenance annual work-plan.
