Job description

- The candidate must be a Paint Coordinator and  experienced with FABRIC MAINTENANCE and COATING / CORROSION SURVEYING 

- Coordinate/Manage painting and coating activities and painting and coating
Representatives. Develop and manage coating plans in alignment with inspection reports and maintenance schedules.

- Supervision painting and coating activities in the field for FE Construction
at offshore/onshore locations.  Coordinate and oversee all surface preparation, painting, and coating operations on the platform.

-Verify and ensure that all painting and coating activities are following Company
Specifications. compliance with international standards (NACE)

 

Ensure correct application of protective coatings, including proper environmental conditions, curing, and thickness.


Maintain detailed records, including daily progress reports, paint consumption, coating thickness readings (DFT), and quality control data.


Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
Work closely with corrosion engineers, QA/QC personnel, and maintenance teams.


Report anomalies or deviations and recommend corrective actions.

 

Profile

15 years of experience in the oilfield in an advisory or supervisory position with
advanced internationally recognized coating certifications.

Technical diploma or engineering background (mechanical, materials, or coatings preferred).


NACE Level  3 is mandatory for the position.



Strong knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coatings.


Familiarity with HSE standards in offshore operations.


Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and coating specifications.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Minimum level of experience required

10 years or more

Required authorisations

15 years of experience in the oilfield in an advisory or supervisory position with
advanced internationally recognized coating certifications.

 NACE Certification Level 3 is mandatory
