Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar for a:
Interface Lead
Job Purpose:
This is an opportunity for you to be responsible and to provide visible safety leadership through active participation in the Project Safety Programs, input to PMT and Contractors in the development of
QGPMS deliverables for execution planning, constructability reviews,
quality control and commissioning, participate in bid evaluation of the EPC tender packages, ensure alignment and synergies between multiple projects, existing operations and other pertinent entities and Brownfield integration planning interface with existing operating
units.

Your main duties will be to:-
- Ensures Contractor achieves quality per the Project Quality Management Plan
- Ensures overall compliance with Projects specifications, procedures and plans
- Endorses changes and extra work requests as delegated by the Project Integration Manager
- Provides timely reporting to various PMT members
- Works in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day
- Coordinates significantly complex internal and external interfaces including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS)
- Clear and concise communications required with PMT, Contractor and Site Team to ensure continuity in execution of agreements
- Leads by example and demonstrates high integrity in all details while sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is second language.
- Interacts effectively with Qatargas Project Teams and Departments to resolve issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to influence without authority
- Works complex tasks to completion with minimal supervision intervention.

Profile

Ideally you will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

You must have 15+ years of experience in a Project Execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering and operations.

You must have recent (within 2 years) experience of working in the field at Ras Laffan

Recent (within 5 years) experience with selected EPC contractor

Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from
variety of cultural backgrounds

You must have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
